Declutter Coaching… Is This For Me?

Life is a constant dance, urging us to shed layers in our personal spaces, physical surroundings, and core beliefs. This perpetual journey requires acknowledging the cyclical nature of our life stories, embracing conclusions to pave the way for new beginnings

To embark on this liberating journey, start with your physical space as a catalyst for honing decisiveness. Empty a shelf, a drawer, or an item, witness the clarity, and untangle chaos through order and cleanliness.

O.R.D.E.R Method

O= Open— opening up involves allowing access to the process, being open rather than closed off, and laying everything out to gain a clear view for effective decluttering.

R= Review. A crucial stage where we thoroughly assess our belongings, considering whether each item serves a purpose and can be effectively managed in our spaces, helping us make intentional choices for a more organized living space.

D= Decide—a pivotal phase in decluttering that involves making choices about what to keep and what to let go of, recognizing it as a transformative point where items reach the end of their narrative, and understanding that deciding requires acknowledging potential grief, ultimately serving as a catalyst for positive change across various aspects of life.

E= Edit. This step includes correction, revision, and preparation linked to understanding our values. It underscores the need to establish values early in decluttering, and editing encourages us to think about our daily space use, promoting reevaluation to ensure our living spaces match our current needs and values for a harmonious environment.

R= Release, is crucial because not everything in our lives is meant to be kept forever; reflecting on an item's journey and realizing when it no longer serves a purpose empowers our decision-making, affirming our right to let go of gifts or items that have fulfilled their purpose, and acknowledging that finding the ideal home for each item should be balanced with the reality of clutter in our spaces, enabling us to free up items, create emotional and physical space for positive energy, and align with our present needs and values during the decluttering process.

It's not just about discarding but releasing what no longer serves. Scrutinize possessions for their role in optimal functioning, exercise discernment, and uncover narratives that bind old patterns.

A Declutter Coach aids in reshaping behaviours, facilitating growth amid perceived losses. This transformative process avoids labeling and becomes a profound exploration of the self and one’s needs.
